Wow, that price has to be madness. :o

I know! I were interested by this bumper and I have sent a few emails to this guy, but he don't care... And he try to sell it since a few months!
I have here the price listing for Irmscher parts in Germany, and this model is 473,27 €, the official price! But not available by them anymore...

It took me nearly 2 years of searching to get a complete facelift irmscher kit for my 3.2

Took me 10 minutes .... :D :D :D :D :D
(I went to look at a different 3.2 and saw this one ...... decision was pretty instantaneous .. :) )

while on the subject, anyone know if its possible to fit a tow bar and double exit exhaust( one pipe drivers side tother pass side) with the irmscher rear double exit bumper?

hmm was affraid of that, tow bar is a swan neck style with 2 bolts to remove the swan neck and have had to cut the original bumper to fit it.
The irmscher back box retains the silencer on the pass side, as you may know, and the link pipe to to drivers side is directly straight iirc so may not clear the tow bar as its hiden behind the bumper, probably in the same space the tow bar is cut into.
Will have to cut irmscher bumper i'm sure, may also have to get the exhaust altered as well, and cut the holes for parking sensors, and cut a hole behind number plate for lpg filler....(sigh)
-
on my car I got extra matel plate over fuel tank where make lass room

Sounds too much like hard work to me. Could just spray it nocturno blue and leave it in my garage. ;)
Oh, wait! I have a tow bar. :(

-
I have an Irmscher front grille. I offered it to anyone on here that wanted to come and replace it with a standard grille and got no takers, even offered a free tow bar under the same conditions. 8-) 8-) 8-)

I think that the Irmscher Brochure says something about 'not compatible with tow bar' for that bumper.
Anyone still got one?

Yes they are needed the plate is to protect the fuel tank from the twin exhaust when you re-route around the tank and the cross member you can see in the photo is the standard under bumper for the rear of the car but to fit the irmscher rear bumper you need the parts that fit to it which can be see in the photo, as this is to attach and support the lower part of the bumper :y

ooh this is going to be a battle, some fff >:(fabricating needed by the sound of it.

Just a thought with that tailpipe. What is it made of ? steel or stainless. Is it worth taking to a stainless exhaust shop and see how much they would charge to copy it ?
Could be a nice little earner :y

Thanks Jim, some pics of where the heat shield attaches would be handy, and any other shots you fancy while your there.
I may well need to get the exhaust altered to clear the tow bar, so a stainless exhaust centre may well be the place to send it.
;)
Thanks for input guys, and appologies to the O.P. for hijacking his thread.

not necessarily, Entwood has an Irmscher rear bumper as part of the full kit on his car, and is an avid tower with bar. Although from memory not the swan neck type. However his exhaust has both tail pipes exiting on the pass side, as stock. So not so much of an issue perhaps?

Sorry to be late to this party ..we were away for the weekend.. :)
My bumper had to have a "slot" cut in it to take the tow bar. A great deal of care and measuring was done prior to cutting !!! If needed I can take piccies .. just yell .. :)

Oh, wait! I have a tow bar. :(
Pikey!

wheel barrow handles? one outlet either side of the middle :-/ like this?

I believe you can't fit a tow bar with this type of exhaust fitted. The right hand side of the exhaust passes behind the bumper ... which is where the tow bar is.
-
Can't see your pic, but that what I though too... I did not yet do the assembly so I did not seen how it looks below...

Pictures as promised ... not fantastic as its started to rain ... again .. :(

but hopefully they show the "slot" we cut in the lower shroud of the bumper to get the towbar to fit. 'Twas done under the old adage ... "measure thrice cut once" .. but I think we measured a dozen times at least !!!
Looks like I need to get under there with some hammerite as well .. another job for the list.. if it ever dries up .. :(
