My son is looking to buy a Vectra SRI, I 've been told the 130 and the 150 are better then the 140!
Anyone know anything about the Vectra?

I have a V6 Vectra mate here that just needs an engine, which I also have actually if he's interested.
It is a lovely looking car inside and out :y

Thanks for the offer mate, but I think he was looking for a runner!
Anyway he's a builder so guess who has to fix all his cars?

It does run, but, makes a horrible valve bending clatter ;D

I hankered after a Vectra B V6.
Then I bought one.

i had a 150 saloon, it was a friends old car, and something to run about in for a few weeks between selling my 540 and getting the new one,
It was lowered slightly, but had original gear on the car, wheels, tyres, interiors etc...
very very comfortable drive, and you feel the power from the cars, being fairly light compared to the Migs,
It was black and a great drive.
I always wanted a star silver one or an irmscher omega back in 2000 when choosing a company car, but ended up with buying my own car and charging mileage, so never had one from new in the end, but i think you are right the 150 is deffinately a better choice, as has more toys and extras.
Bit like buying an elite, you get all the bells and whistles.
at local auction a couple went thru for about 800 each recently, so what a bargain they have become!
