Title: Machine Mart VAT free day
Post by: TheBoy on 16 April 2010, 13:13:45
At last! The invite has turned up :D

Now, what shall I buy ::)

Kevin Wood - what are those clip pliers called, I need a pair. Also, what do you think of the fuel filter tools?

Hmm. I suspect I'm not going to be much help. :-/

On the first count, Hose Clip Pliers or words to that effect. Can't see them in the machine mart catalogue and I'm wondering if they actually came from Halfrauds or the local motor factors. :-/

On the second count, never used then for their intended purpose but picked them up so I've got them "for next time".  ::)

I hope I get a VAT free card soon too. I have an extensive shopping list.

Fuel line set looks right. reckon the CV joint pliers are a bit too hefty though.

These look like the closest machine mart product: http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/hose-clamp-pliers-angle-type-swivel-jaws

I've not had one of those cards for ages :(
Then again there isn't a MM anywhere near Reading. Twickenham was the one I used to get.
