I saw something like that when I did a factory tour and 4x4 driving.  Work had laid on the day out for a few of us.  My son was born the day before and I was supposed to be on paternity leave - but it was a free day out, driving a range rover, and seeing them being put together...  Used two years worth of brownie points and put another years worth an an I O U.  Still can't believe she let me go!!   :D

It's not a 3.5 v6, It's a V8 landrover 101 gun tractor ex military rebodied for the film they bought up most of the surplus 101's at the time.

OH YES.......
Bloody horrible thing, we had a few as communications vehicles, 24v, and hot as fire inside, or freezing cold. no inbetween. Signals had a load of them, and they were only doing about 9 mpg if I can remember rightly, and as low as 5 mpg on cross country exercises 5 up with all radios and aerials fitted. (looked like a bloomin' hedgehog, 5x 9ft aerials.......)
Mind you, fuel consumption was not really an issue, the fact that you had no armour or any ballistic protection whatsoever was..............
