Title: Have I gone crazy?

I saw this video on youtube of a Volvo FH16 with a straight exhaust and thought it sounded excellent...am I the only one that thinks so?  :D

Is that truck one of the super charged versions that accelerate like a rocket??

I have encountered one of those and he almost out accelerated me!! :o :o :o :o

saw 520 V8 Scanier pull away rather sharpish when i walked to Tesco earlier, those V8's do sound good

In answer to you question Josh, no I don't think so - it was an impressive sound.

Craziness is reserved for old duffers like Optimist 60 and I when it becomes apparent that whatever the desire, the capricious mistress of advanced years permit nothing but wishful thinking. :( :(

A 680 v8 scania with twin side pipes or uprights. We have a lot of them over hear and its a competition to see who gets loudest. Big kids really, double clutching when changing gear to get the full effect, etc.

its funny you should say that candyman,tonite at teatime , a v8 ,possibly a scania ,(i was sat at the table in our kitchen so i couldnt see for sure )came barreling past our home double clutching and generally making it known he had a (large one ) didnt impress my daughter (18 mth old Ellie Mae ) because the only loud noise she likes is "uncle guys big black beastie "

you should try taking you handbrake off  ;D ;D ;D ;D
