Title: Tight rear end
Post by: SP_3.2 on 21 July 2010, 13:08:48
No not what you lot think ;D ;D.   In ref to the car, Chris gave the donut bushes a check at the Oxford meet at the weekend and they were done in.
Have just had a new set fitted and the car  feels great lot less action from the back and feels much more planted and less drama in the corners.

Thanks for checking them Chris and Mark thanks for the link for them  :y :y

Looking forward to a good drive to the park for training later.  ;)

I would like to replace mine with poly B's when they are ready.  Dunno where to get them from though.  Plus what other poly bushes are availble.

Would be nice to have a list of links for updated parts as a reference somewhere.   :y

Easy enough to get front wishbone bushes and front anti roll bar buses. (e.g. ebay)

Rear donut bushes are harder to source and you may have to import them

Whats the general consensus on the best way to remove and fit these? Bushes on my landrovers were always a nightmare, was burn or cut on most of them, same with these? Presume its only 2 I need as well?

Cheers,
Iain

there is a guide in maintenance with parts link, two off, usually a claw hammer and lots if grunting is enough. Although i had to resort to a baring puller and some fiddling with mine.
