Title: Lightning very, very nearly strikes twice
Post by: Kevin Wood on 24 July 2010, 01:03:06
Thanks to the cretin in the silver 4x4 who pulled out of a T junction in front of me like it wasn't even there this evening. Forced me to take to the grass verge at 50 MPH. How the break we didn't make contact I'll never know. :o

About 200 yards up the road from where the Westfield pirouetted, as well. ::) I think I need to find a different route to work. ;D

Don't believe so.  I was expecting the verge to be a bit rough but it was no worse than the pot-holed road it was next to. ;D

Are you beginning to doubt that its not your fault ;D ;D

Nobody hurt, thats the main thing.  Unless you catch up with the cretin.

Was it an X5 or a Q7?  If so, how dare you drive on their roads :P

Took him a long time to catch up with me (I was deliberately driving slowly to make sure he had to). ;D

No, a Honda CRV I think. Coming out of a swanky hotel driveway so I suspect a liquid lunch to be the main problem. Or a liquid lunch for the bloke so the wife was driving. :-X

its my main fear on the bike  :(

I always ease off on the bike at T junctions, when i see cars waiting or when one just got there.

Riding bike has made me more aware at T junctions to look and see rather than just look, its all to easy to glance and go  :'(

Least no damage and your not hurt, tough old beasts are Omegas  :)  :y
