Did you manage to source the window gubbins at a reasonable price then, or did you end up taking an 80 quid hit for the regulators?
-
They do seem to be quite hard on batteries - I've just had to replace mine recently. Probably didn't help when I came to replace it that the previous owner has obviously skimped a bit and installed something that was around half the size of the replacement I bought (which was rated as OEM standard).

£67 each side for the regulator & motor :( Battery will be given a full whack, rads were taken out by a massive stone but only £100 for all 3, so roughly it's worked out
£900 - Car
£134 - Window regs & motors
£170 - Leather interior
£10 - Gearknob
£100 - Chrome accsessories
So £1314, for a 3.0 car with all the bits done, not an issue at all done 88k miles drives nice etc etc and will be sold for 2k+ not too bad on this one, didn't want to spend as much as I have but, little outlay for a larger return cheers me up :y
