Ok if the worst case senario was that the insurance company were to write off my Mig, what would be a reasonable offer. she is an 02 plate 3.2 v6 in black metallic with all the toys including sat nav system NCDC 2013, in the last four months had new rear springs, Lemforder wishbones, HBV changed, new battery, x2 Front tyres only cover 2000 miles if that.
She has 109,000 miles on the clock with part service history with vauxhall, the rest is done by me with the help of this forum.
Anyone with any ideas ?
Regards
Steve

Search Auto Trader and look at prices to replace it to get an idea. :y
As a general rule, you'll probably want to refuse the first offer ;)

Buy the car back and break it ;)

Second that.......although you might get a good offer, unfortunately miggys can be worth much more in bits :'( :'(
for example, ins co. offer £1200 and your car back, you break car bits and make £600, £1800 made on car in total, more like what you would really expect??? (just an example, not real figures) Only ok if you have somewhere to break it, and the ability to remove all the bits though........

Remember, the work done adss absolutely Jack to the value - that was either done as part of a service schedule or a break-fix.

I think between £2500 and £2750 - ask for £3000 and chance your luck :y
