Hi
Just been reading about fitting LPG kits. in maintenance thread, and I was wondering what reaction do you get from the insurance company's to DIY LPG fitting.

Makes no odds provided you have a safety ccirtificate, which can be obtained from an LPGA approved fitter, costs in the order of £100, but they(LPGA) can be pedantic at best, sometimes with good reason, sometimes not.

In practice I found insurance companies fairly clueless re procedure and what's required, some phone calls in advance is wise IMO, and get written confirmation from an underwriter if in ANY doubt of what your being told by the jobsworths.

L & V were very good, I phoned up and told them, they said " no problem, that's fine".
