Hi all just wondering if anybody has used or recommend any alloy wheel refurbishment places. Got a few marks and the odd kerbing there not bad but id like to have them mint again....Think someone posted up a few place a little while ago but i can not find the thread. Think there is a place in bury/bolton that someone said does a good job but not to sure...The thing is they have a polished lip and spoke faces on them.

cant advice any place but I have to say if they are not sanded properly (which requires serious effort)

this is the place in Bury http://www.businesspad.org/uk15_business32621_Alloy-Wheels-Refurbished-Millett-Street-Garage-Millett-St-Bury-Lancashire-BL9-0JA/ next to RRG Toyota. No idea or experience of their work though. :y

For what they charge these days (around £50-£60 per wheel) I think you might just as well pay a bit more and get brand new alloys. I had a set of alloys refurbished a few years ago (about £45 per wheel at the time) and although they came back looking like new, around a year later they started bubbling up and flaking again.

national alloys at widnes are said to be excellent, a single colour refurb on a standard alloy is £35, if you just need a bit of edging filling and blended, as cheap as £20

got mine 18 sport star done last year
cost 60 £ each wheel
