Warning light came on on my sons is300 took it to lexus £47 to say it was oxygen sensor, £336 to fit a new one,also asked about a new key as he'd broken the casing the parts guy told me to go to egay as lexus charge £299 for a new one. The joys of owning a lexus. [smiley=cry.gif]

fob casings can be bought for pence on ebay

replacement keys are a bomb from lexus but if you get your own blank blade cut locally, you can get a transponder and programme it yourself in the car's ignition

all info can be found on the lexus owners club forums

my brother's a member on there i think, he's recently accquired an is300, and made himself 2 fully working spare keys for something like £12 each

Ta for that, it's just the casing thats broken so he should be able to transfer the insides from one to the other and just get the key cut. :)

he can also get much more help in other areas from the lexus owners club, like here, it has members with diagnostic equipment who wont rob like dealers do

a few lexus owners, and former lexus owners are also on the outlaw jap club too :y
