Have you noticed how Ebay is getting too popular and people often pay a lot for things even tho they are 2nd hand with no guarantees. I recently got caught. I bought a laptop DVD writer drive for about £27 inc postage, which I thought good considering other drives were £35 plus £5 post. However it has lasted for 3 DVD's, and now wouldn't read the DVD's it blew. :'( And I have just ordered a brand new drive from CCL for £35!. And a Xerox colour laser printer. The seller said the cartridge counts were about 40% left. However when it arrived 2 were empty, and the black soon finished. I recon somebody had partially refilled them, and then reprogrammed the counter chips to say they were high capacity, so they ran out quickly. :-X

My cost me more initially, but am sure it works out in my favour over time.

e Bay's far too full of potential scammers for my liking these days.
I listed an MOT failure Calibra ast week for £400 BIN. It was duly bought, paid for, (+ £50 !?!?!? :question) and +ve feedback left, but I haven't heard a thing from him since despite repeated attempts to correspond with him.
I suspect a scam, but can't see how. It would be one thing if he'd said he'd pick up the car then asked for the balance back or something, that would've stunk.
As it stands, I've had to sell the car locally, and this jokers money's in my account.
Not gettin' it! :-?

The car has already gone to someone else this evening. After many comm's, via multiple media, I have had no response; at all!.
I have informed the powers that be within the Bay of 'E' of the situation, (Like that's gonna do a whole helluva lot of good!), and have stated my case. I have the 'buyer's' money and will be happy to refund it when they make contact.

Haven't stopped thinking about it RB! It's high on my list of priorities ATM.
As it stands, the money is now in my bank, (not Paypal), account, so they've little means to take it from under my nose, but as I'm the 'vendor', they now have my address!! I ain't happy about that!!
On another completely unrelated topic, since I've had a new garage built, I have recently discovered my baseball bat, some very heavy and blunt tooling and an ornamental, (but surprisingly sharp! :o), sword! Interesting huh!?!?

I think it might be a teenager that's gotten hold of Daddy's account details or something. And did you see what he's selling? Quite off the wall. And the mobile number listed just goes straight to voicemail.
I dunno!
