Title: Haha! Finally got my very own Omega 3L Elite!
Post by: familyguy on 22 September 2010, 22:06:09
Yep - obssession accomplished! Just drove home my very own W plate Omega 3L elite early facelift saloon. Fantastic. What a beautiful sound it makes.
Few glitches though, the new indicator assembly doesn't switch itself off automatically and the remote key fob isn't working! Tends to set off the alarm evertime I get in..
Just managed to get a cot in the back though by fold the seats down - wahay!!
 :y :y :y

Congrats .. as for the key problem ... Martin Imber on here fixes key fobs very well and very quickly .. give him a PM

Also, if you make sure the keys are in your pocket, open the rear drivers side door, lean in and lock all the doors by pushing down the drivers door lock, make sure the keys are in your pocket, shut the rear door.

The car is now locked without the alarm being set, and can be opened using the key in the drivers door with perfect silence ...  :)

Get the sequence wrong and you can lock your keys inside the car....   comes under the heading .. OOOPS   :)

Martin does brilliantly quick repairs, wish I'd thought of the lock from the back door trick while my fob was playing up!
