My Moms 2010 plate Citroen C1 1.0 VTR+. Shes on holiday and has kindly let me use it to keep on the road whilst i sort the brake pipes outon the Mig.

Nice spec to be fair, air con (option) part leather, CD, Electric Windows but i miss using the Omega already.

The mig on the other hand is just sat there looking sorry for itself :'(

Cant wait to get it sorted and back on the road :y

i can see what you mean - being condemned to a Citroen must be Chinese water-torture

Its ok but thats all it is. Too small, noisy, slow especially over 60mph and seats have little support, but hey it beats a bus pass ;D

Take the opportunity to test the performance of your mother's car :D :D :D  That's what I'd do anyway, and it is always good for any car to have an Italian tune up!! :D :D 8-) 8-)

And yet Citroen have the cheeck to refer to it as a 'VTR+'!

I know ;D, the VTR name has nothing to do with sportiness now just specification.

How can you compare them.... ::) one is tinny, slow, small and reliable the other is solid, comfy, roomy and in V6 guise keeps the RAC in business...... :)

Interestingly I had to use SWMBO's 1.2 Panda for a couple of days last week when I was sorting the Brake Pipe on mine. At a 75-80mph cruise it was less economical than the Omega, about 28mpg, but came into it's own around town where it was doing mid 50's :o
