Title: headlight lense cleaner/polish
Post by: Cliffo B on 02 January 2011, 00:56:58
Today to celebrate the New Year for miggy, I decided to give her headlamps a polish. Wow what an improvement! Previously I've used Brasso even tried toothpaste. This time thought I'd try a purpose made product as I got some Meguars Plast RX in a valet kit as a pressie from my grandson, and now the headlamps have their old lustre and brilliance back and it was fairly easy to do.Tomorrow think I'll have a go at the glass with a spray glass cleaner instead of the old leather. :y

All cars do. The Omega were just poor to start with (like all Vauxhall from that era)

All motorway munchers suffer, not just the miggy :y

Actually Omegas are pretty resilient, second generations Astras suffer badly, Nissan Micras also even audi A6 are terrible etc etc

Clean the glass with Meguiar's clay and then apply 2 coats of lacquer. They will look brand new and will last forever. :y
