That LPG install looks rather erm .....  [smiley=undecided.gif] Still I suppose you could tidy it up at the same time as doing the oil cooler.

-
Agreed. Depending on the finishing price, it could be a nice project.

 I've seen much worse!!!! :o :o ::) ::)

Can't be a 40L tank though, unless he's talking usable capacity, or you'd be in the filling station every 10 minutes ;D ;D
-
				That install is appalling!

-
Pricing will definitely be dependendent whether diy (persons ability) or having someone do it. If diy, anyone got pricing ideas and involvement. :-?

-
Finished at £461. If it was near me I would have been happy to pay that for it.

Add £400+ for some new tyres plus oil cooler plus (hopefully) an MOT and you're well over the grand for a gas guzzler :'(

Ok as a hobby but not if you need transport.
-
Elite Peter was recently selling a set of elite alloys with good tyres for £175 iirc - just as an example, so that knocks a big chunk off the costs for a start. Oil cooler is just over £100 iirc.
And its not a gas guzzler, its got LPG,and therefore imo, would be well worth spending a few quid on.Probably all sorted for a total of around £800. It should easily be worth double that.
I think it could either return a decent profit or be worthwhile keeping. ;)

All cars are going to need tyres at some point, so you can really cost them into the overall/final on the road price for this car.  :-/

Hopefully the lucky winner will turn up on here to keep us posted of progress :D

				I was watching....was tempting  :y

the LPG install looks bad, but as above seen a lot worse! Just looks un-tidy, looks like it is sequential as those pipes go under the plenum, and hopefully into each pot!

Oil cooler failure is rare on 2.6, suggests very poor maintenance.

Finished at £461, its something to buy and run, but can't see much money in it as a project :-/
