HI all
Anyone have any experience of these?
Looking about for a replacement for the Astra G we are selling and apart from Omega the only other car that appeals is the Laguna II Sport Tourer.
Read varied reviews, but they are a lovely looking, spacious, safe estate car which is exactly what we are looking for.
Been looking at a couple of 2003-2004 examples, both in very very nice condition and reasonably priced

Had a diesel years ago 55 to the gallon all day long never any problems :y

Was it the mark 2 mate?

Owned a mark 1 for a few years and then had a 54 plate or may have been a 55 as a company car, fuel ecomomy was amazing and at that time diesel cost sod all in comparision to today.
Only problem was depreciation but won't affect you :y

Watch the mileage on the diesels as the Renault diesel is pretty crap when it gets past 80K miles.
For me, Renaults are still very poorly screwed together and uninspiring.

+1 although it seems that if you can coax one past 100k they seem to go forever ,between 80 and 100k turbo's tend to fail and take the motor with them :-X

Had a 1.8 on a 2004 dynamique engine and gearbox were great body was fab as wings etc were plastic, But the electrics were a knightmare the keycard reader broke twice and just general electrical gremlins, spent half my time on the renault forum,On the plus point it was a joy to drive. :y

Sadly, the VX vans have the Renault engines in, they throw rods, cook heads, eat turbos the lot......not many get past 100K!
