Well I sold the facelift Omega on friday so now I can get the white Omega in for it's MOT tomorrow.
I know that the two front tyres will fail along with the lower wishbone's but I also noticed whilst underneath the car yesterday that the inner tie rod on the driver's side is split (the rubber boot), but luckley I have two new inner tie rods (left and right) also the outer tie rod as well so they can be fitted. So finger's crossed she won't fail on much at all :). Once that is done and she is taxed I can then move onto the doors which hopefully I can get them from Clarce (if he has still got them) and get them sprayed and fitted.

Why do you think wishbones will fail. Movement in bushes is only an advise not a fail. To many get changed for Mot that don't need doing to pass.

I also forgot to mention the idler arm will need replacement as there is quite alot of play, maybe thats why the steering wobbled alot ;D ;D

Just to let you all know that the car passed the mot today yippee. :) Not bad for a twelve year old car just a brake light and the handbrake cable plus the two front tyres thats it. I am well chuffed with that no adviseries yeh :y :y

..pleased the car passed, should really have been insured before taking to M.O.T. station, but I suppose it was taken on the back of a trailer. ;) or driven along private road/ ground to station.

Does it need insurance if its booked into mot station......i know it doesnt need tax.....and afterall if an accident did occur wouldnt the insurance be invalid without a current mot? :-/
