I found this in my local scrap yard today, can anyone guess what it is???

Looks a bit like a ford capri/cortina dash, but the front indicators and headlights look a bit like an old ford Turus (german cortina), so I'd say it's an early Ford Turus coupe, that's been slightly modified.

Do I need to think again? ::)

v6 or v8 and is the charger written on the air cleaner a clue ?

I thought MKIII Taunus from the front, but then doors weren't right and they definitely didn't have a live axle. :-/ :-/ :-/

I think thats what it is, the guy at the scrap yard told me it was a Holden :-/
But its from Oz!!

You'd like 'Pimhole' round here then, there are half a dozen old style yards round here. They just send you off in the right general direction to have a look. :y :y

that is a valliant charger (gm) from Australia which are worth a small fortune, absolute muscle car up there with the gto's in my opinion.

The guy in the yard did say it was a Holden (GM), maybe he was right :)

1974 Holden 5.2 V8

yes valliant was the name produced by holden under the gm umbrella ofcourse, what a shame who the f%ck would paint it pink! excellent car if i remember correctly it was a hemi motor and when it wa tuned right man did it go, my first girlfriend's father had one great car!

Not really worth it when the biggest it came with was a 360ci making 255bhp..
