I have just bought one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280506859610&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
I have looked into it and they are made by SKF and apparently are the same as the omega. He has 4 left :y

I can live without the warranty for 18 quid delivered, especialy as its an SKF pump and not a crappy one :)

Read this post with interest as i work at SKF and the price is indeed very cheap. If you did purchase one of these water pumps i would be interested to hear if it came in original SKF packaging. As a company, we have audited some of our distributors recently and found a few cases of counterfit bearings being sold to buyers. I am not implying that these pumps are counterfit, there may be a perfectly acceptable explanation, old stock etc. but they are being sold very cheap as i know how much these cost to manufacture. All our products are made to highly exacting standards and i would not like anyone to buy one of our supposed "products" only to have it fail shortly afterwards thus giving the company a bad name and unfair reputation and the Omega owner a costly bill.

I will let you know about the packaging when I get it :y
I only bought this pump as a spare, as I dont need one just yet. I came across it whilst looking at the sellers other items after buying a Mercedes 190 water pump off him for 15 quid delivered, this arrived today 36 hours after I bought it. the guy seems genuine and has excellent feedback. I did notice that he has a borg&beck clutch for an Omega for 50 quid.

The body where the bolts go looks a decent thickness. The QH one I bought was really thin and the std VX bolts caught inside. Had to fit spacers. Worth checking when fitting.

Is that a plastic impeller?

I ordered one I'm expecting to arrive tomorrow, thanks :y

Yep... Thanks for that. I've just ordered one for the cam belt change later this year :y

Is this suitable for a 3.2 or only 3.0? :y

I shouldn't need a new water pump any time soon, but at £18 I thought it would be rude not to.
Cheers. :y

Oh break, they flew out like hot cakes! Lesson learnt >:( >:(

Mine has been at Ipswich depot since 6am yesterday. Parcelfarce tracking info says they tried to deliver it at 5.30pm yesterday - rather liars, I was there waiting for it and they didnt turn up. >:( >:( >:( >:(
Rang them an hour ago, bloke sais he would ring Ipswich and get them to ring me - they havent bothered their arses.
If it doesnt arrive today, I will have to change the cambelt without doing the pump tomorrow.
And they wonder why everyone uses courier companies these days. Tossers. >:( >:(
