Post by: Crazycarzowner on 28 May 2011, 14:37:02
Drivin to work yesterday on the motorway mindin me own business, then THUNK!!!! followed by CERRRRRAAAAACK!!!! Bloody stone hit the windscreen and now I've got a lovely spiders web on it where the crack has started to grow outwards  >:( >:( >:(.

Wouldn't care but B/holiday w/end now so I ain't gonna get it fixed any time soon  :'( :'( :'(

Oh well have to speak to insurers & get the wheels in motion. I just hope whoever they get to replace it makes a better job of it than they did with my Range Rover!!! First sign of rain & I needed a brolly  ;D Had to take it out & do it again Grrrr!

Same happened to me last year on the A331, stone flicked up by lorry in front and done the screen.

Not a major problem for us as we are fully comp, all it cost was the £10 glass excess (which was handy, as a screen and seals from Japan were gonna be £600 by the time the parts got here).

My excess was £125  :( And the reason for my new vans screen being cracked is a woman with high heels  :o
