Title: Genuine vx parts.
Post by: amigov6 on 12 July 2007, 19:56:24
Been into vx Immingham, who share a dealership with chevrolet(sorry...Daewoo) and ordered a brakelight switch 'cos mine's become intermittent, £20 inc. vat sir!
A place in Grimsby quoted £9 but had none and the petrol would lost some of the saving.
When i told this to the parts bloke he said "genuine vx parts sir" I'm sure vx parts are better and obviously need brakelights so i've paid it but are vx having a giraffe?!!! :(

Alas no Guy, I looked at getting a clutch switch and iirc it was £23.  -  got one of Tunnie in the end for a fiver, so price sounds about right.

Steep though for a bit of plastic >:(

Clutch switch is a lot more.

I still feel guilty for telling Tunnie to buy one before I did his cruise, only to find, when I went to fit it, he already had one fitted  :-[

Don't feel guilty - it helped me in the end.  Cheers TB  [smiley=beer.gif]
