Title: Stainless exhaust systems

Anyone on here purchased a stainless exhaust system for a 2.5TD estate?

Is there much point in stainless for a diesel? They last much longer than petrol ones. Unless your just after the looks / noise?

Right.... I had no idea that was the case :-[

But I would still like a different back box and yes it's for the noise and looks (still a bit of a boy racer at heart) :)

lol my older estate is still on the original system!!
 however i did have a leak in the original back box a few years ago, after removing it the sheer weight of it made me cobble up a few pipes together and now has no back box at all, and twin exits, noise is a nice rasp till the turbo cuts in then its  big whoooosh been like it 4 years now and not a ounce of a problem with MOT or anything else :y actually if the visit for tech 1 is still on then you can see it and hear it!!!lol

Yep, it is! Sometime between the 30th and 15th G.

Can't say when yet as I have to earn the time off by finishing off half a dozen house jobs first, you know what its like.

I'll drop you a line when I'm organised mate.
Oh and yes I will have to have a look at your scaffold pipe exhaust :y
