Title: Nice sounding mig on ebay
Post by: Shelby on 12 July 2011, 17:10:09
Quite a nice sound 2.5 V6 Elite here.

Messaged the seller about the cambelt change history and apparently, according to the main dealer (that he spoke to before replying) it was lasted changed in the '04 service.  I would of thought it should of been done twice more since then, isn't it supposed to be 40k or 3 year intervals?

buttons and gear selector look like theyve seen a lot more than 60k!

TVT in the reg does seem very popular for omegas!

Should have been done again `08 then `12. Every 40K or 4 years whichever sooner

i'd say that car has done a lot more than 60k looking at those photos.

This is my dash, with no worn buttons, this was taken at 136k!

Probably depends how well it was looked after.. the 'Eco' button on my 90k miler is starting to peel off and getting noticeably worse if you catch it with your nail..

And some people have very long fingernails ..
