Title: 2.2 exhausts

just looking at getting a performance or bigger exhaust for louds (neighbour reasons  ::) )
to me it looks like after the cat, it goes into two pipes, two boxes, then back into one rear box.
is there a reason it uses 2 centre boxes? what happens if i just have one bigger bore to a rear box?
thankyous. i would like some louds

lol you need to make a bigger point.  Im not really doing this for more power, that would be a bonus.
i like a noisey exhaust over ice really.
your right it is only a 2.2, im not totaly decided if i want to spend anything on it yet or just get a v6.
since i done the breather system its made a huge differance and ive not even taken the throttle body off properly yet, just cleaned what i could. so is it better the devil you know?

I've got a Powerflow stainless system sitting in my garage off a 2.2 Saloon if you're interested, took it off the car as scrapped it and wasn't going to let the scrap man have it.
