The missus just filled up the Omega with 58.1L after a week away on the East Coast.
Trip meter (which I zeroed myself when filling up the morning we went) read 483 miles.
37.79mpg; 7.47L/100km (normal Esso unleaded used).
Almost unbelievable. :o
If it wasn't such a rusty piece of junk I'd think about taking it on myself after my missus gets rid. ;D

I am getting similar figures but I tend to think its a nice joke :)
even I hammer it averages dont change :-?

38.4MPG on Saturday over 44 miles, cruise at 75 for about 25 miles and then down to 50 for about 15 miles, through roadworks then 4 miles on b road to the caravan (Static) using the posh Total fuel, best I have ever had over this, regular, run.... :y
