Gorgeous (apart from the colour). I still love that digital dash.Wish they had put it in the Omega. Think the engine looks a lot more impressive too. :y
Knowing what I know now, I wish I,d kept mine and restored it. :(

I was 23 when driving it, only a test drive because I was interested in buying it and it's still the only car with auto box I've ever driven....nice car

My first Senator was this colour, but I could only afford 12 valves at the time.  ;) ;) ;)
It looks very nice, even still has some rear wheel arches.

Mmmmm  :-/ tow the caravan with a Senator, flog my Omega ..................  ::) ::) ::)

You can really tell it was designed in the 80's.. the decade that style forgot.

Sorry guys ;)

*legs it*

Never liked the grill personally, but loved the rest of the car.
Mine was Maroon, but dark green was my favourite, followe by black. :)

I've always preferred the Senator styling to the Omega. No boilerplate "just another vauxhall" front end, but a grille that tells you it 'ain't going to be a 4 pot when you see it in the rear view mirror. ;D

Preferred the interior too. Not as fragile looking as (certainly the facelift) Omega.

a common criticism, but I noticed  various 'go faster' grilles on facelifts at Newent that were the same design  :-? :-? except all black.  :y

Funnily enough, I like that style of grill on the Omega for some reason. The Senator though had much more presence on the road imo. People seemed to notice when you came up behind them, it gave the impression of a big beast of a car. The Omega has never had that presence imo, it just looks pretty much like A.N. other car.

It's just the shared styling of the 'nose' of both the Astra G & Facelift Omega that I'm not keen on.

Yep, an irmscher style grill makes all the difference - but Im not paying £100 for a 2 foot piece of plastic. Will probably get one of the fake ones at some point. ;D

That looks real nice, excellent condition considering the age! I think the grille on it makes the car, it looks mean and imposing  8-)

I also wished they had continued the digital dash - nice  :y

Ahhh the Senator, great car. Nothing like having one like I did, which was rusting away, did'nt look like much, but damn did they shift and make a great sound!

Preferred the S6 engine from maintenance point of view too.
