Thanks - I did get a decent price for it but it still seemed like not a lot - but then I reckon it would have needed money spent on it this year

Used to tour France, Germany, Austria as well as the UK regularly, it was the last of the Lynton's, twin axle job with with separate gas fired central heating.

Nice looking car Martin very much like mine  :D

What was the mileage like when it chaged hands.

142,000 and I originally put it on Auto Trader at £1000, dropped to £800, sold on Ebay eventually for £640 (well not on Ebay but just off Ebay)

If I had kept it any longer I would be looking at

1) Rusty door tops
2) Replacing stud on head for exhaust
3) Gearbox oil & filter change

I seem to cover quite a high mileage - sold to a Russian chap who after an Omega - never saw him on the internet after.

My current car is 60,000 miles less, 600cc more, and 5 years newer
