Is it a left-hooker Vauxhall (?), or are there two people in the car?

Very nice, but why is the boot open?

Regular readers of TV will know that there was a loss of traction/armco incident.

Must say that I'm impressed with your methods of reversing the damage using a hoofing great big yank pick up truck as a dent puller!!!  ;D

Now Barton! I need a word in your shell like!!

Is it yourself or Dougie who's responsible for me having been unfairly shuffled off the TV rolling road league?  >:(

I should've been in Barry Keys place as I had the more powerful car, (allbeit only by 1 BHP, his was 229 BHP and mine was 230, but it still counts!!)

I've already noised Dougie up about it on the S2N forum!

Can I look forward to being reinstated in my rightful position and seeing my name in print every month when I buy the mag?

 ;)

The boot's not open: it's just that the track session before this footage was shot, we went backwards into the tyrewall at Quarry, and the overall length of the car was reduced by about 3 inches.  :( Barton

This was about an hour after the 'impact' you can see that the bootlid's popped and just makeout the sellotape holding in what remains of the light lenses.  :'( Barton

Hi Rod,

point taken about the league tables, I'm ultimately responsible but have no objection to you taking Dougie aside on the Staples 2 Naples and giving him a good ear-bending (actually, he's expecting it) hear your taking an omega over there? thanks for bigging up the mag and my F-150 V8 jig. Barton  :)

Are we going to get a mention in TV?

I think your magazine could do with a little more Omega action!

Yes, the OOForum will get a mention in the Autumn issue of Total Vauxhall. We have a page dedicated each month to clubs and forums (usually page 25, or thereabouts). If our staff writer can successfully screen grab the home page from this site, it will feature at the top of the page with a paragraph or two extoling the forums virtues (which no doubt i'll be writing). We'll also add it to the semi-permanent 'Forum' listing, lower down the page.

Considering how few of our readers (average age being about 25) drive Omegas, the model is proprtionally over-represented, basically because I've got one. The July '06 issue was full of it, with my car (painted, but before graphics) on the cover out-snaking a Monaro VXR. Don't have any spare copies left but you can get one for £4.50 posted to you (call: back issues: 0870 8374773).  ;)

Hi Jim,

since the old company (A&S) was bought out (by Future Puclishing) and relocated to Bath last year, the back issues dept only keeps the previous year's worth. Have seen a lot of old issues on ebay though, going for less than the cover price with p&p, worth a try.
