Thought I'd post these picks just to show people what an Omega looks like with the "cheap" lowering springs from Venom, and a "cheap" set of KYB shocks. Works pretty well I think...............

Nice car Mate 8-)

Yes, makes it 'sit' much better. Looks good - just the right amount of space between tyre and arch.
-
Looks good, how much have you lowered it.
-
They're -40mm springs, the rides not bad, better than standard in some ways because it doesn't rebound from bumps very much, also stays much more level on the road, ie very little body roll, infact much more stable all round and appears to improve traction a little aswell. Considering I needed to replace the front shocks as one was leaking, and as it turned out one of the rear springs was broken, it was the cheapest route I could find to sort it all out, and at the end of the day perhaps improve it a little :)

Have you tried towing anything since lowering it or is the towbar the distance sensors equivalent :)
-
The tow bar is a bit low for my car trailer now, just means the front axle of the trailer will be loaded up a bit, their had to be a compromise somewhere and as I don't pull the trailer all the time, I chose this one. The rear end doesn't go down much with weight on the back so should be ok. I've got 3 cars waiting to go down the scrappy so we'll find out soon.....

Does look Good :y

Did you find you had any probs with the auto leveling headlights(if it fitted with them)
-
Don't those MV6's just look incredible.! Very very smart...
-
I think the headlights should be told to recalibrate after suspension changes. Tech2 reqd, but if the lights are OK, and no errors on MID, I wouldn't bother....
-
Luckily the lights ended up fine, but they can be adjusted with the manual setting screws similar to ordinary lights, I had done this previously to get them where I wanted them.
Having driven it like this for a couple of weeks now I really appreciate the difference it's made, the handling and stability are way better than it was, gives you much more confidence and doesn't lurch when hanging the arse out. Only slight drawback is it's a little bit choppy on the front, not bad but would probably benefit from stiffer front dampers.
