I drove a bullet proof Carlton 3 ltr 24v once upon a time. The windows did not open 'cos they were laminated glass about 1 inch thick. Aircon was poor or non existant - cant remember if fitted or not.
Despite being a three litre with driver and two VIP's, it went as though it was a tired 2 litre with 5 adults and luggage. If you threw them around, Dukes of Hazzard style, they fairly whipped about with all that extra weight.
Car for a purpose, though. ;)
