Title: My '97 2.5TD Estate
Post by: platty on 18 April 2007, 12:15:36
Cleaned the car so thought would be good a time as any to share it with the world!!

Only had it since Jan but am really impressed, got a few jobs on the go with it (see help forums!), other than that its a good laugh in the rain and drags anything behind it!!
Enjoy!

People that do that kind of thing need to be strung up and stoned, theres just no excuse for that kind of behaviour - if vigilanties were legal I'd be one.

Sorry to see it platty  :(

It was parked with passenger side to the pavement, so it couldn't have been hit by a car.

I thought maybe a wheelie bin had fell over but there wasn't any in sight. So i put it down to just malicious, pointless, mindless behaviour from some crack-head scumbag just walking past.

If i had seen him i would probably be in prison by now.

What is it with these idiot youths these days >:(

Where my mum lives every weekend someons either had a wing mirror kicked off or a smashed windscreen or dented panels.

They think its funny but dont realise how much damage they do and how much things cost to repair

Im a 6ft 5" 18 stone doorman. if i saw someone do it to a car i would have to have a quiet word in there shell like :y

that WELL looks like a face, with the  cracked paint being an open mouth

i'd be devastated if it happened to mine, it looks to have took a pretty hard whack, being on a panel that curves the way it does, they're not as easy to dint with something like a kick, not like door panels

Ive had a look at it this morning and most of it should push out from inside, but where the paint has split is gonna be a bit of a mess till i can get it into my workshop... but thats 100 miles away unfortunately!!

Its just another job to add to the list which is already as long as my arm...
