-
Wow, what a stunning car, I'm jealous! 8-)
-
Fantasic!
100% Tastefully modded car, all orginal stuff. Really does look nice.
As someone else mentioned here, some people don't know when to stop modding exterior's.
Well done looks perfect!
-
Thats seriously cool...
-
thats one tasty looking motor, the dogs bo**ocks
-
Nice alloys; they 19's?
-
Nice alloys; they 19's?
No, 18's, irmscher don't do 19's.
-
Nice straight car Kev. I think that Irmscher do now do 19s but not for the Meega. I think that 19s can be had for Vectra C and Signum, num, num.
-
tastefully changed without chaving it. nice...
-
Nice alloys; they 19's?
No, 18's, irmscher don't do 19's.
Hmmm, a couple of bodies in the boot then, or lowered sussies :p
-
Nice set of wheels, where did you get them from.
I have heard they are a lot cheaper to buy in Germany and shipping isn't that expensive!!!!!!!!
-
Very very nice mate...was that all specced/fitted by the supplying Vauxhall dealer of have you done all that yourself?
-
Good lookin' car Kev. Very tasteful.
There was a 2.0 kicking around Edinburgh the same colour as yours, but it had every concievable Irmscher bolt on attached to it. It looked like an explosion in an Irmscher factory, the owner had just gone a little OTT. Spent a fortune on it he did.
And anyway, yours has a better engine. ;)
-
now thats tasty, always a nice looking car just got nicer.
i saw an old fiesta yesterday with a kit on that made it look like an armoured car.
the driver obviously thought he looked cool.he was about 18.
imagine his face seeing this photo-his mum would have had to wash his sheets ha ha
-
Stunning Kev - really love it!
Where in Glasgow, i am sure i have seen a similar car in Coatbridge - if you have ever passed through!?
-
No, 18's, irmscher don't do 19's.
I have 17's on mine, and yours make mine look diminutive!!!!
An inch seems to make a huge difference!! (Well that's what the wife says!! ;D )
-
Hmmm, a couple of bodies in the boot then, or lowered sussies :p
That'll be the irmscher suspension, i was really happy with how it sat after i done it.
-

I'd like to introduce my best mate Jim, and our newest member.
He knows the wheels are cheaper from Opel in Germany, coz he got them for me when he was posted there. :)
He's also correct about the shipping, it cost me nothing. :)
Cheers mate. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Yup, that'll be Coatbridge, Glasgow. ;)
I put Glasgow cos, well, down south nobody knows where Coatbridge is.
Next time you see me you'll need to gimme a flash, what do you normally drive?
Can i also say, thanks everyone for all the positive comments, it really is appreciated.
-
No Problems!!!
-
Very very nice mate...was that all specced/fitted by the supplying Vauxhall dealer of have you done all that yourself?
I wish i had the money!!
I've done it myself bit by bit. It's taken me a while, but i think it's worth it.
The other half still thinks it's "just a car" though. >:(
-
Top marks go to you then mate :) , and its deffinately worth it.
and as for the missus...Tsk! ::) ;)
-
I pass Coatbridge ever working day.
I commute between Dunfermline and Cathcart. M/A80-M73-M74 then through Rutherglen and the reverse on my way home.
Always been a fan of Kennedy Cars. They seem to have slightly oddball motors.
Nearly bought a Porsche 928 from there about 6 years ago, but the SH said it had about £6k spent on it in the previous year and that wasn't a legacy I was keen to carry on.
-
Kev or anyone know if that split exhaust will go on a standard rear spoiler? I want it :)
-
Absolutely stunning..... :o

I reckon you're right, 'cos we (Total Vauxhall) had a Signum on loan from Vauxhall for a year which was as Irmscherified as we could get it, including 19 inch rims.
When the car went back with standard 17s, I sold the 19s through the back of the mag, cos the PCD is different for the Omega.

Hi Kev - What a beast! As the say in Gaelic - "Clachan a Choin" (the dogs bo11ocks). ;D
-
Very nice looking car mate.
I think that 19s can be had for Vectra C and Signum, num, num.
You can't polish a turd, and I'd consider it a compliment to describe the vectra c as a turd. As Clarkson so elegantly put it "I don't know why they fit a steering wheel to this car, it doesn't do anything" as it understeers like crazy round every corner of the TG track ;D
-
I have to say m8 i have looked at this car many times and every time thought wow what a lovely lookin motor i'm thinking of putting a kit on mine do u lot rekon that it'll look nice cos mine is in white ?
lovely motor Kev

Where did that Body kit come from...????
A bit from here, a bit from there, mostly from the UK and Germany though. Took a while but i think she's been worth it. ::)
-
Honestly. SEXY. Great work.

-
Don't be fooled folks, I've seen this car at the jockular meet and the body kit is made from gaffer tape and chewing gum ;D ;D ;D
Only kidding, it was a pleasure to see it in the flesh, looks gorgeous and very nicely done ;) It even starts itself so next time it'll probably come along without Kev ;D
Cheers Jim

I think I know whos car that was, did it have a split irmscher exhaust?, if so its a 2.0 litre engine under the bonnet or was back in 2005 when I seen it, as the original MV6 got wasted cambelt went on it, used to be owned by a scottish guy, linked to Vxscc east coast, he sold it a while ago 1/2 years ago?, he was from Edinburgh, had the ali style steering wheel aswell. Heres the pics I took of it in 2005 at Billing. Had the front and rear irmscher, and the side skirts were steinmetz, also had 30mm lowered suspension not irmscher.

No it is'nt I was gonna mention it in the post...thought I'd wait to see who would notice, was round tailpipes on it, can't remember what exhaust he did say it was. But it is the same car as posted earlier.

-
I,ll plead guilty to X677 FRO 8-) , it was only a 2.0l GLS in a previous life form , i had the Steinmetz side skirts instead of Irmscher one,s because i think it picked up the lines of the front and rear bumpers really well , the exhaust was a Powerflow custom made one from MMV in Stirling ( got to be too loud in my old age ) . It also had the Steinmetz roof spoiler on ( why did they stop making these ?? ) . The steering wheel was a wood effect one from Germany painted silver with lots of coats of laquer !
I am now on No3 Omega , krypton green 3.2 Elite getting the full Irmscher treatment with a few tweeks ::) , can,t find wheels (18" ) that i like yet but still looking !!
-
nice wheels mate
