Thanks for that, mind if I pop up one day and see what it feels like comfort-wise before I take the 19" plunge?
I know my way now thanks to The new OOF Member Map (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1206144652) :y

:o Fantastic looking Moda R6 (Italian) wheels... but the rears dont look to be as wide as you say they are... what sort of offset are they m8?
Also 19" wheels are hard to find, and the tires for them are bloody expensive... I personally like 18s... more rubber for better ride but still low enough profile for handling...
Also are your rear brakes non vented?
-
That looks sweeeeet mate likein it big time nice smooth line's keep it up mate.

Unfortuately it isn't that simple on an Elite with self-levelling suspension though...
Just a word of warning to Elite owners.

You'd be stretching it with 21" wheels; I don't know what rubber would fit, but it would be damn harsh.
You'd need 235x30 x20 tyres for 20" wheels. That'd be pretty harsh in itself as the comfort value drops to "0" on the scale!

I've heard of people slamming it on 20's & even 22's! The omega has massive arches and even the biggest wheels don't seem to fill em!
I've been expecting this markey, but have you been anticipating the osteopathy bills! ;D
Nice one mate :y

True, although I was implying that an Elite owner may not want to lose this feature of their car, and was just highlighting this in case they got the idea that it was as straightforward as "changing the springs" as was initially put forward.
I, for example, wanted to lower mine until I found this out and then decided against it.
Hence my post, which I stand by. ;)

Hey Markey Mark
The only thing now with those 19" alloys, is the brakes look too small ::) you need bigger discs and some 4 or 6 pot calipers. ;)
-
Looks good mate, the wheels fill the arches well and suit the car very well. Good choice mate. Would be a shame to sell it. :y :y :y
