Post by: Danny on 20 October 2008, 14:48:35
supposed to be kept a secret, but no one on here knows him so here it is:

Nissan Skyline R34 2.5 GT-T, soon to be UK road legal hopefully within a couple of weeks max, he picked it up off the boat on saturday morning from liverpool at 5am and turned up unannounced where i was delivering mail and gave me quite a shock given that i had no idea he'd bought it!!

the car's exactly how it was when he bought it, with the scaffolding on the back, he's looking for a proper GTR spoiler to replace that one, it's alot smaller :y

he's also received his order of new tyres this morning aswell, cant imagine them being to cheap, they're 265 wide on the front and 285 on the back!!

The spoilers way OTT, but the car itself gets my vote :y :y

Glad he's changing the spoiler, because it certainly lives up to it's name :( :o

certainly does, the GTR one is about half the height and not "wing"ish like that one!!

stunning car.. :y

spoiler is how it must be physically but may not be artistic though..

if I'm not wrong those cars engines are highly tuneable via lappy.. :o

very!! standard is about 280bhp, he believes its not standard but not greatly modified, i suspect in time he's gonna want it upto about 500bhp to match the GTRs!

after some research, its revealed it was never privately owned and until it was brought to Ireland to a dealer that imports them, it was originally a Demo car for a company in japan :y

i'm not sure but I know its the best one i'd seen out of a good few he was looking at, bearing in mind its a 2.5 GT-T and not the GTR or the GTR V-Spec. they sell for upwards of £25,000 and £45,000 respectively

i'd been hoping he'd get this one, it had far more presence than the rest

he's managed to get the MPG into double figures though I think, so there's a plus!!

its definately unique though and will never be owned by a chav in this area of the north west :y

currently still restricted to japanese road laws of 112mph too :(

as said, a new more presentable one is on order :y he's had all the scaffolding and ironing board comments and he's not had the car 5 days :D

he never liked the spoiler to begin with but loved the rest of the car, hence buying it!
