Title: Lovely estate
Post by: Albatross on 16 November 2008, 21:59:25
This is actually a Catera with Steinmetz kit and an Opel re-badge, but i really like the wide rear wheels (a bit like Bob Dent's) and the missing roof bars looks good too.

I'm not normally quite as taken by the estates as I am by the saloons, but that is rather sweet!  ;) I'm liking the real wheels too.

Here's another estate with the roof bars removed. The paint is a little more extreme on this one though... :o

Yeah, the missing side skirt / sill cover lets it down. The 2nd one has the same side skirts as my saloon. That would finish the 1st one off a treat.

Great looking motors (all of them) the estate just has that special look.
Thinking about getting rid of my saloon and getting an auto estate for myself. So practical too :y :y

That first one looks superb. Has it got some sort of trim over the holes where the roof bars fit? I'm convinced mine make a lot of noise, wouldn't mind removing them if possible.

The estate is eminently practical, just open the tailgate and chuck whatever in, and more and more and more etc. It's not easy to fill these cars up! I once had three fridges in the back of mine. And another time had three patio tables and sets of chairs :o And with room to spair ;D Superb.
