Here i Denmark thats called "German Style", because they are allowed to have wheels stick outside the body, as long as the tread is inside.

You can take a look on the homepage for the german magasine flash- OPEL Scene (http://flash.de/) and look under Bildergalerien

There are also a few Omega's on the danish Opel-site OpelPower.dk (http://www.opelpower.dk) -> TopMenu -> Galleri

Now that's what I would do, fit a V8...
Twin four barrell Holleys, tubular headers, etc, etc... :D

I have had loads of American cars, and as the saying goes "there is no substitute for cubic inches""...

got to say, the screens in the boot are just daft, and with this car i think the mv6 carbon effect trim would be much better suited than the wood finish (not to mention the look of that amp in the rear) but overall its nice

a bit grumpy arent you....

the guy has probably put a lot of time and money into the car and if im honest it looks lovely, engine bay looks stunning. only thing i would replace would be the mats as you say but each to their own... if he likes it then so be it...
