Here are some pictures... let me know which one looks better the dual or the single projector set up!?

...and I found this at a local scrap yard...
Looks cleaner and it works easier when you try to refill it...

i personally like the single projectors but thats just my opinion ;)
Good idea about the water jet filler, much more handy ay, now you dont have to clear up all the water jet fluid up all the time :y
-
That water filler looks just great.. I have always wondered why there is the hole and why the filler neck is not there as standard... Anyone have any explanation or idea for this? Or is it just that GM -designers have never filled the washer fluid :-/
-
the twin mate looks alot better go with the twin :y
-
I guess its down to personal opinion...
But aesthetically the dual projectors are better from a design point of viww...
:y :y
-
What are you going to do with the water filler hole you are left with...??
:-/
-
OK, my mistake...
There was a hole there already and you found a filler neck to fit in it...Duh, too much duff bear...!!
Yes, a definite improvement... :y
:) :)

Well the filler neck tube came from a Pre-99 Car because they have the grill mounted to the bumper cover rather then the hood so you can treach the water tank... so they used the hole above and snaked it down below...
On the new ones they tried to save some money and they made one that attached to the tank and called it a day...
Here is another shot of how it used to be...

here is where I got the idea from...

As for those fog lamps well the dual one didnt seem to appeal to me at all then this morning I looked at them again and somethng happaned... All the sudden I liked the look... I may get flamed for having one hundred milion fog lights on there but who cares its my car... BRABUS has Duals on all the cars they do... Why not me too..
The outter ones will not be functional thou!...

Hey too right, its your car, how you want it to look is a personal thing... :y
I have a '94 Omega Elite, metallic red / bergundy, black leather interior...
Two looks appeal to me - either get an aftermarket grille without the chrome V, or maybe badge it up as a Cadillac Catera...
But I read somewhere that the Cadillac grilles are different height and may not be an easy swap...??
8-) :y
-
I'd go for the twin lamps 8-)
Really like the filler pipe alteration too -- very sensible solution to an awkward filler :y
-
I am confused by the water filler, mine is up there anyway and so was our previous Mig, thought they all were ::) :-[ :-[
-
Yeah I think it was another one of those great GM Engineering solutions call..."hey lets see where else we can cut/save some money"
So the new ones here see no need for it so they got rid of the tube...
The tube itself is only 2-3in longer and probably costs extra $0.15 but I guess it was enough to go and design a new tube for it...

Single for me mate, looks more like it was standard.....
One thing i do like is......i prefer the Catera standard fog lights compared to the Omega ones they look better...
Vamps,i think you are confused because is yours not non facelift??
The facelifts as you know have the grille attached to the bonnet so there is a big space when open, where as the non facelifts the grille is still there when the bonnet is up.....you will see what i mean in the pics above of the silver facelift and the red one below.... :y
-
I would just have the singles, but hey its your choice. :y
-
The doubles will give me a choice between white and yellow light for bad weather...
Other then that , I can make these look almost like stock if it comes to figment etc...
I will see what happens this weekend... It all depends on how I feel and how the measurements play out... if its too tight... it will remain with one set only...
-
I like them both, but prefer the single....
Still like your standard fogs, can you send me a set???? :D
-
I will be taking the OEM ones off and probably selling them on here or ebay...
I got a good used set from the junk yard with a little more cleaner lenses... I will post pics later
-
Prefer the single lamp set up myself, as for the washer filler, great mod :y
