Title: My MV6 3.2 Estate, back to its former glory, ISH!
Post by: Monza on 26 July 2009, 14:19:40
I purchased this from a trader, it was owned by the dealer then a familiy since 2003. They had a dog, three kids and it seems, just a hosepipe for cleaning. The door shuts even had mold in them! I have re-painted the front and rear bumpers, tcut the car and refurbished the alloys. Inside it is very good, as you would expect with just 60K on the clock. I really need to spend some more time on the paint with some Clay to get to the point where I am happy. Its looks a 100% better than it did though ;D Its going to France with me next week and just needs a wheel bearing before then..

Nice looking car mate.
instead of getting new plates try and get the euro stickers for the plates, its a lot cheaper and saves putting a great big sticker on the back end of the car.

 .....

My Senator used to do that, 7 lights would come on with the driver's door open, but my prefacelift just lights the puddle light of the door that's open.  :-/

That's a peachy Mig matey, good on ya!
Regarding plates have a look on ebay for sites making custom plates. I know they're not road legal but if you use the right font & don't play with the spacing the law will leave you alone...or that might be they can't catch you! :y

Very nice Monza, a credit to your effort, although i don't think the wheels suit it and would look much better on mine and my 16" Elite alloys on yours and i won't even ask for any cash, can't say fairer than that ;D.
