Here are a few pics of my motor. Ex-plod, silly miles and going like a watch. Great craic too and more than fit to hold it's own with quite a few younger motors.
It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it gets quite a reaction at shows, meets, etc.
All C&C Welcome.

It's the something different that appeals
Nice one :y

Very nice looking mate, mammoth mileage too glad it's going good still :y
-
looks good hi,think ive seen her about!
-
To be honest I wouldn't have black alloy's, I'd go for silver or chrome :-/ :-/. But apart from that, which of course is personal taste, I love that mixture of black and white which is on a great looking motor! :-* :-* 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
-
nice motor mate, mileage wise it's nearly been to the moon!
-
Great car :y I see from the mileage its just about run in then ;D

As I said, I knew opinions would be split on it, but hey glad some of you like it too.

i like it myself, omegas do look good on the deck. you work for e.c.c or is it tuned by them?
-
remember this car knocking around lisburn for a period, mileage is a testiment to good old v6 sticking power (with good maintainence) :P i hope she is suitably full of the the rack on occasion?
-
that looks pretty good actually, and your not that far away from myself either!
TSW Venoms...havent seen them in YEARS! old skool almost lol!
-
i rember the venoms coming out! look a bit like snowflakes do they not? black does look good
-

I worked for ECC briefly mate, the stickers were for a bit of advertising only. They never done a thing to it...

Jesus man, I can remember Stealth's being launched, every car in Northern Ireland at the time must have had a set on it...
Damn, think I just really gave away my age.......ah well.

I've always said Migs should've been made in white but high spec. Imagine a white ELITE with green glass & cream leather. Or a white MV6 with black recaro seats.
White is a classy colour. Shame it's become poverty or plod spec. BTW Luvvit!!! 8-) :y

From a stylists point of view when you have a ex-job car you're never really going to get away from that; unless you want to spend the car's value on a respray...
But Im really pleased to see what some thought, common sense, and effort (and that shows, by the way) has done to an ex-plodder. I'd normally hate something like a gloss black spoiler..but you get away with it because of the alloys, etc..
I'm impressed :y

Why thank you... comments like that mean a lot. Unfortunately I have had to sell up for reasons beyond my control, and the fact that I got offered daft money for it!
I have still stayed with the Vauxhall Brand though and still drive the Cav everyday and have just finished the Vec aswell.
I would be really tempted to by another Mig though, but it's just finding a good one these days. The young guys over here have discovered that with the correct back end they can behave badly in them, and it means that they are all getting thrashed. Unfortunately they have become a victim of their own success in this part of the world.
Thanks again for all the comments guys and gals. Should you here of any 3.0 manuals up for grabs, please don't be afraid to shout.
Cheers,
Jay.

nice looking car!
i dont like white cars usually, but the black-white contrast is great!
Is that a spoiler on front bumper? What kind is is?
is it ABS or fiberglass?
-
Mk3 Golf bumper spoiler. A bit tricky to fit, but looks well when it's on...
