Here is a very simple and cheap upgrade that looks cool and elegant when in use.
LEDs like these are used on many new high end vehicles such as Cadillac and Mercedes Benz. The typical 5W licence plate bulb is replaced by a small Festoon Bulb which features few LEDs which use less then 1W while producing a very bright light.
I ordered these bulbs from ebay seller (hk_plus).
The kit he sells has 2 LED bulbs that fit the following bulb sizes (6411 6418 6413)

Total cost of the kit including shipping was $3.80

Install was a breeze. Simply remove the 2 screws that hold each of the licence plate lights (there are two of them) then remove the wires, remove old bulb, install new bulb, replug wires... check polarity (if bulb lights up with the parking lights on you are good, if not then flip the wires around)
Reinstall and enjoy!
Here are a few picture...
Let me know what you think.

And secondly the mudguards thanks to TURBOMEGA.
Fit and Finish is at its best, and installation was a breeze...
Here is how they look on the car.

Really does make a positive impact, I especially like the mudflaps :y

like them :y
ps: you forgot to cover the number plate in the last piccy

A lot of the stuff I have done to the car has been thanks to Turbomega's help.
The mudflaps look and function so much better then those generic ones I used to have.
I am very happy with them.
The plate, well you all have seen it, its all over my German front plate... no reason to hide it I suppose.

Mud flaps look good. I have the same ones. Be careful if you're doing some enthusiastic driving on a road with dips, i bottom mine out ;D. The Wirksworth to Duffield road's a favourite. There's four places on that road :y

Mine too.
Remember up to 99 licence plate light uses just 1 normal single filament bulb unlike 99-2003 that uses two as seen in the pictures

I just found out that as well, mr. Turbomega informed me that some or most come with one light... and I guess in the States they went with two...

Yep, like the mods, especially the number plate lights :y
