My Omega I was bought in February 2009 from a friend. Nearly a year urged the resale. It worked.
As soon as there was spring, I took in August, the cleaning, laundry and other ..
The day of purchase:

The equipment is virtually everything outside the factory navigation and leather trim, but both of those things to me are unnecessary and not needed..

Lacquer was in good condition, but I used wet wax which gave such an effect:

..Meanwhile, I mentioned the sports disc brakes (drilled and incised MIKODA ATM's), flywheel from Vectra 2.5 V6 with the new clutch from the Vectra i500, the new black lamp (FK Automotive) with 6000K Xenon and threaded KW V2 suspension with adjustable height and hardness, LSD from Omega A 3000 24V - only inside parts.
..Currently, I consider the resale and purchase of another, where under the hood maybe inasmuch C20LET. But it's far only intention..
Time will show..

I love that car, very very nicely done. Those wheels look fantastic too. I'm glad you changed the exhaust back to a standard one, lol.
But...I can't really talk, my Omega is covered in rust! That said, it inspires me to continue working on it through 2010 and get it looking good!

Lovely car mate, and the nice thing about having a car is being able to do what YOU want to it.....
Am i right in saying that Omegas are quite popular in Poland for tuning, seems that alot of the customised ones I see are Polish.....?!!!
My wife is from Lodz !
:y

Omega is so hot! :y I was thinking I Irmscher kit. But here in Hungary can not really get it. :-[

Very Posh!

..Meanwhile, I mentioned the sports disc brakes (drilled and incised MIKODA ATM's), flywheel from Vectra 2.5 V6 with the new clutch from the Vectra i500,...
Why have you changed a DMF to a solid flywheel? It looks like it was not even lightened. I guess you can feel the difference as ca 15kg solid wheel slows it down, especially from low revs.
-
DMF is a big GM mistake..
..I put flywheel from Vectra A 2.5 V6 (Calibra/Vectra A and B V6) with clutch of course. This setup is not so light. My flywheel weight abaut 1,4 kg less then DMF.
..I'm very satisfied..
..First Omega V6 from beginning production in 1994 had such a flywheel and clutch kits..

My question was rather about lightening a solid wheel. I would do it if changing DMF to a solid one. It weights ca 15kg but it can be easily dropped to 7-8kg which is much better.
-
..I know that. But what for?
This is flywheel from 20XE - very light (6,5kg):
..And this is flywheel from 25XE after weight loss (9,5kg):

..Setup which I have, I use for normal everyday driving :)

I’m bit surprised with your answer. I thought that you know what a lightened wheel gives and you also know the difference in driving.
Standard weight of the V6 wheel is around 15kg and from memory Irmscher version was fitted with 7 or 8kg wheels. This gives much better engine response when revved. I agree that ultra light ones (4-5kg) are not good for everyday driving, but you could feel a massive difference by just dropping 4-6kg. It would also not affect day to day driving.
I wish my old Vectra would rev like this with a bog standard wheel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s58m6NhyPp4&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uBNtTtC79M

..I know that. Thank You [smiley=beer.gif]
..Perhaps next time I will do it.. I'dont use my Omega to drift or racing.. I have got flywheel from C20LET, but it's not time for it :) so it wait in the garage ;)
-
Andrzej very nice car :) Nice meet someone from Poland :) Exec what are you doing here? :) Best wishes :)
-
