that's worth it for the wheels alone.

it's on a full set of L-C front wheels. They're ultra rare, as opposed to rears which are more available.

I'd expect to have to part with £500 for four Lotus front wheels.

I'm rather embarrased to say that they do rather suit it - normally I'm of the opinion that fitting after-market wheels is a hanging offence

The bloke posted this on the site where he has it for sale

Car is clean inside and out with all the usuall toys.
Full body kit
GENUNIE Louts Carlton wheels. Which are very very rare and expensive.
2 New front tyres
Rears are ok
Decat and custom exhaust
Lowered
Pipercross air filter
Tinted rear windows
Arches were custom widened for the wheels

OK guys heres the story.

Car went for a timing belt b4 xmas and the new tensioner siezed and melted the timing belt so it went of timing and bent a few valves.
Just went and got another engine and had it fitted there along with engine mounts, exhaust sensors, decatted, oil, filters, timing belt, water pump, belts and plugs.
Car is going well but it brings up a management light an odd time and losses power. If you rev it, it clears up. Its prob just a sensor but tbh i am just fed up and want a change.
Also there is slight oil leak from the rocker cover gasket. Not a dear fix.
Did you ever just get fed up with a car and want a change? lol

UPDATE.
Car put on computer today and 1 fault its showing is - 02 sensor circut open. It could be a bad connection or faulty sensor. Im just not in the mood for looking anymore. lol
As i say the car goes well otherwise and can be driven even with these faults.

Cash sale price £1800
Trade in price £2000

At £1800 thats leaving the car itself at around £600 - £700

Looks like 4x Elsie rear wheels to me......

265/35x17 on the back, 235/40x17 on the front if they are a proper set, but I've looked again, and still think they're 4 rears.

That'll tramline nicely then.

What I'd like to know is how he got those front mud flaps to stay on! ;)

I certainly wouldn't want to buy a car that had been treated like that.  :-/
