Well i thought it was about time i put some pics up of my new tail pipes, i had the backbox removed and some staight pipe fitted onto the ends of the middle box with one straight out and the other run along behind the bumper a bit like the Irmscher backbox rear bumper was cut for the new tailpipe :y :y
Then it was off with Don Paul for some pics ;) ;)
Anyway what you think????

ello mate, how much was it for them pipes? and whats the score when it comes down to MOT time? im not to knowledgeable when it comes to the rules about emissions and noise etc. Im looking to change my exhaust and hav always loved pipes like that of the irmscher ones (jus not its price tag)

I am also very interested in doing this aswell,but with the quad pipes(2 twins),but doing it myself on a budget.I would be very grateful bud if you could give me a bit more info,and looks damn fine mate by the way. :y

pipes look nice, but would need to be on a V6 i think, not much point making a 2.2 look fast ;D
Also are those LPG injectors just lying on the cam cover, and not secured? you might want to make a bracket and move them tad closer to the manifold. This is my LPG setup:

Nope injectors are mounted on a fabricated bracket that uses two rocker cover bolts :y :y

Love the twin exit pipes. My MV6 (The Beastie) has a full custom made stainless steel de cat system fitted by Rebel power pipes who are well thought of in this area. I wanted twin pipes but was told there's a heat issue with the fuel tank. It sounds lovely...if that's your thing.
Have you fitted a heat shield? Guy. :y

Pipes look great are they 63mm or 57mm ? Want to do something like that on my car but there is a small space problem , so I might just split them at the rear if we can get a place that can bend the pipes right .

Some of you may remember i did this on my estate 3 or 4 years ago, since then the car had done numerous 1000plus mile journeys nonstop(england to spain, spain to england, and have
never had a problem with damage or heat on the rear of the tank, it also has no rear box and is not loud at all, and yes they are still on there!!!! now complete around 26k!! :y

i'm sorry to say thats not true, my german built but right hand drive mv6 has an irmchser boot spoiler :) have 3 of the wheels too as i curbed one...well i bend it and cracked it, damn crubs they always find me in the snow lol
