Title: Omega no7 my derv virginity gone :)
Post by: graham-mv6 on 07 June 2010, 19:55:21: Picked this up 3 weeks ago off my cousin who spent alot time on it, so sold 2.6 mv6.

She 01 Omega CDx 2.5TD (BM engine)
Standard xenons, dual climate, cruise control thicker carpets etc electric everything.

Mods
Bilstein B8 Shocks out off armoured Omega
40mm Springs with heat shrunk rears
Omega Elite wheels
Prodrive bumper and spoiler off MV6
Mv6 sport leather recaros front
Elite leather rears heated
Automatic blind out off elite
Titanium trim from Mv6
Bose Speakers from elite
Full stainless straight through exhaust with remus box
Custom Remap
Fk badgeless grille

Its quite comfy the b8 shocks were taken out of ni armoured police car so they absorb the bumps well ;)

Have you any info. on those mudflaps? Like where did you get them?, did you fit them? :y

I am having trouble sourcing some - I want the contoured type which locate against the wing/wheel arch. I have a 1999 V-reg Elite. When I enquired at Vx stealers they said the contoured type wouldn't fit my car but couldn't really explain why. Then they said if I ordered some I would have to pay up front and if they were wrong it was down to me - no refund! >:(

Post by: graham-mv6 on 13 June 2010, 11:47:18: I have front moulded ones trimmed at front but rears are all cracked due to catching on ramps there no movement in the moulded flaps. Will either have to get new ones and trim or pre facelift straight flaps locate them bit higher. Mike I would just buy them see if theyd fit cost about £25-30 for the set front and rear iam sure someone would buy them off you if they didnt fit right ;)

I notice you mention a "automatic" blind out of an Elite. Never heard of that before. How does it work? :-/ :-/
