Guys,
Excuse the 'library pic' but it is exactly the same as mine is now. I just need some time to get the clay and polish out before posting a pic.
Well pleased with the 35% rear tints - not so much as to feel like you are driving a van or to look too aftermarket but certainly saves having to have those nasty sucker shades on for jounior in the back!

Looking forward to seeing your Mig instead :y

That's the first pic of a facelift saloon WITHOUT the rear spoiler that I've seen for a while.
Looks so much cleaner and easier on the eye. 8-)
Sorry, back to topic...............
Nice tints!

OK - finally it has had a clean (sorry no polish). Can't get any arty backdrop but you get the idea.

Lovely, would like this for mine :y

cheers guys - I went to Newport Autotint, approx £140 forthe 5 bits but I don't know how many he would want to take on, aparently it is THE most awkward car to do due to the fixings around the openers and the curve/angle of the rear screen (I still need to have BOTH rear openers re-done due to scratches and wrinkles/bubbles but the result is indeed well worth it.
Subtle :y

Don't the rear windows have to let in 75% of light (i.e., be 25% tinted or less) to be legal?
Very very shiney car. Completely mint. 8-)

I got a quote for my facelift estate in limo black and the general price for the rear 7 windows was around £180.

No the rears can be 100% if you like, have had that on a few of my cars.. What you have state is only applicable for the front 2 side windows... BUT if you are going to get the fronts done have them checked first and see what the standard window tint is, then deduct this off the 30% rule.
E.G.
Standard windows 8%
Rule 30% - 8%
Get fronts then tinted 22% ONLY
OR In another term..
Front Window: 75% transmission of light into cabin
Front Sides: 70% transmission of light into cabin
Rear Windows: No specific limit of light into cabin
But also remember if you have tints on any window you must inform your insurance, due to it is a modification THAT can be classed as an impairment of vision out of the car.

All modern cars have their front and front sides set as max tint to start with. ANY additional tinting to the fronts would be an MOT failure and illegal.
