I'll jump on the bandwagon seeing as there are quite a few of these threads kicking about ;D
First off, here is my current pride and joy - a 2000 registered Omega 2.5 V6 CDX Auto. Love it to bits, although i'm toying with the idea of swapping for a Vec B SRi 2.6 V6... so i'm not 100% sure whether the Mig is staying at the moment !!

And some of the past Vauxhalls i've had within the last 5 years ;)
2007 (56) Vauxhall Vectra 1.8i VVT Exclusiv - Bought because I needed something reliable and fancied something newer. At the time, I had a 54reg Mondeo TDCi which was one of the most unreliable cars I have ever owned, so I chopped it in for this Vectra. I actually quite miss it...

1998 (R) Vauxhall Astra 1.6 8v Club - My first experience with an Astra G, this was a good solid little car, bit sluggish on the open road though hence the sale and the purchase of the next car on the list.

2002 (51) Vauxhall Astra 1.6 16v SXi - As above, bought cheap to runabout in early last year. I was going to lower it, change the alloys and generally tidy it up, but I sold it as it stood before I had chance ::)

1994 (L) Vauxhall Calibra 2.5 V6 - this car was an absolute beast. Impeccable condition as well, unfortunately lots of timewasters when I came to sell it spelt the end for this beauty and I stripped it, sold the parts and weighed the shell in. The engine still lives on in a Corsa B that was converted, however :y

1998 (R) Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 LS - Bought as a cheap runaround off my mate, I had a load of Vectra B GSi bits in the garage and the aim was to make a rep. I started to do some work to it, but swapped it for a Saxo VTR before I had chance to finish.

1994 (L) Vauxhall Cavalier 1.8 LS - Now this was a car and a half. £110 of my hard earned wages changed hands for this 2 owner, 69k car back in 2007. I ran it for ages, and ideally wanted to utilise it for a mad engine conversion. At around the time the tax was running out however, a mate had his Cavalier nicked and an offer was made on this that just couldn't be refused!

1999 (T) Vauxhall Vectra SRi 140 - My first ever Vauxhall and I got given this car for free, in 2006. It had tax & MoT, just required a cleanup. I ran it up until the point I bought the Cavalier above, and then sold it for a healthy price.

So thats the Vauxhalls covered. I would be here forever with every other car that i've owned. Oh, btw, i'm 22, hence why i've only had 5 years worth of Vauxhall ownership :o (i've had 32 cars since I passed my test in 2006...)

Well done there D - interesting bit of history. 8-) :y :y

Yep !! Just remembered i've missed a Vauxhall off, a P reg MK3 Astra 1.6 16v I had for a bit prior to the green Astra G :D
In total it breaks down as
2 BMW's (K reg 316i/K reg 520i)
1 Seat (R reg Cordoba)
1 Honda (R reg Accord)
9 Vauxhalls (8 pictured above + MK3 Astra)
6 Fords (2 MK1 Mondeo Diesels, 52 reg MK3 Mondeo 1.8, 54 reg MK3 Mondeo TDCi, an R reg Escort and a P reg Fiesta)
5 Rovers (T reg 214i, 2 R reg 420 Diesels, P reg 620 Si and an S reg 620 Si)
4 Volvo's (2 440's, S reg S40 and an R reg V40)
1 Renault (S reg clit)
1 Citroen (R reg Saxo VTR)
1 Skoda (02 plate Octavia)
1 Peugeot (N reg 106 Diesel)
Got that made my head hurt. But yep, 32.....

32 is more than i've had in 27 years ;D

I just had to tell my old mum your history, as she believe I have had a lot of cars in about 12 years (appx 8). Some have been down right bangers.
She definitely had no answer to that.

;D
To be fair, I did go a bit overboard and I've had some right sheds, but its been a laugh along the way and I've learnt so much with regards to mechanics etc, as most of the stuff I've bought has required work.
Thankfully I've calmed down a little now; I can't afford the £80 every time I change to transfer the plate over ;)

Nice collection!
Funny enough i had a similar instance in 2007 with a 1993 k reg cavalier 1.8 colorado i bought for £100 ran for 6 months and sold for £280. :y Happy Days

Nice vox's, love which one :D
-
Why do you change cars so often, very often in fact? Do you get bored of them?
-
Pretty much !
Majority of the time though, i've had two cars at the same time (both taxed/tested/insured and on the road) so it's not as though i've only ran one car and changed 32 times...
Although at the moment I do just have one car, which is the exception ::)
