I like the voltage one, is that the power that the alternator is generating or what reaches the battery?

Should be one and the same ;)

The US models do have more gauges - european models lack the voltage and oil pressure gauges.
I was confused about the kph speedo though, isn't it mph over there?

They started metrification in the early 70's at the behest of the Liberal government under the then Premier Pierre Trudeau.
In the subsequent years various imperial units fell as victims to the metric equivalent, the result of legislation.
In the early 80's Premier Brian Mulroney’s Conservative government decided that this had gone far enough and introduced legislation to repeal the adoption of full metrification.
There remains a hybrid system in place to this day although in this case distance continues to be measured in kilometres and fuel quantity in litters but there has been a move to reinstate the imperial system of measurement when the Ontario government introduced changes in 2005 that allowed both systems to be taught in the maths curriculum.

Well there is the point, it *should* be, but with my case and corroded / poor crimp on battery terminal, they were different :)

I remember being confused when driving somewhere that the distances were in miles but the limits in KPH or vice versa. It was either Canada or the ROI. Possibly both. :-/ ;D

no, it doesn't, the gauges are in place of the computer ;)

Wow sorry guys I was unaware of all the comments being posted here...
Yes the cluster is the Canadian one, I wanted to have KPH as a part of the OPEL look I was converting to, and thats the closest I can come to the KPH without messing with the other stuff...
I was wondering if the European center cluster could fit my car but couldn't find enough info, then the Canadian one poped on ebay for 30$... so I grabbed it.
The two are really separate meaning the center one with the speedo, tach, temp, and gas gauges is one unit... then the side one with the oil and volt is in place by a separate harness so you can actually remove it and install a custom display if you like... simple as that but you will loose a few of the warning lights...
None the less I got used to driving around with the inner numbers reading the MPH instead of the KPH and I Have a gps that has a log of all speed limits in the area so it warns me if I am speeding.
THe best part is when someone peeks inside and spots the KPH, its an instant... :o
And Im like... ::)
And they are like... >:( (I want one)
And Im like... 8-)
LOL Sorry for the ^ I got a good laugh at all the expressions..
