It's just as well, I think GM/Vauxhall must've had a glut of silver paint when they were making the facelift - the vast majority seem to be silver  ;D ;D

I think that must be true enough Andy, my Desmond (03) is silver although my wife's last Omega (02) was Nocturno Blue.

This looked a treat when I washed and polished it - although I have to say that I fancy the Rubens Red colour. (Like Proz's motor)

I think the profusion of silver VX's (not just the Omega) around the turn of the milennium just reflects the fad that silver cars at that time were uber-fashionable, much like white ones seem to be now.
When I was looking for my Omega, I'd have considered any colour OTHER than silver, just because they are sooo ubiquitous, and because I'd just flogged on my unloved Veccy B SRI 150, which was also silver!
I eventually reeled-in  a Krypton Green one, and I think the boy did well! :)

Im not a lover of silver, but my Mig is Silver. I bought it due to the fact that it had LPG and was a known forum car at a good price. My next one is Black, which I much prefer, but that probably wont be a keeper unfortunately.
